WHILE OUR AGENTS WAIT FOR THE CRIME LAB RESULTS, IT SEEMS THE CRUST PLOT IS MOVING AHEAD... OR NOT.
BERNADETTE: All I'm saying is, could you do better?
STANLEY: With this lair? Are you kidding me? Look, if I were in charge...
BERNADETTE: Which you're not.
STANLEY: But I could be, is the point. I had Gloria put in a good word for me.
BERNADETTE: Goody for you. Okay, go on.
STANLEY: If I were in charge, I'd tear up this drab carpeting, give the place a splash of paint — something vibrant, like a yellow, or an orange — and move the sectional couch to that corner over there.
BERNADETTE: Accomplishing...?
STANLEY: That would open up this area here, giving easier access to our evil control panel over there, and clearer sight lines to our giant catapult. Not to mention the improved overall Feng Shui.
BERNADETTE: You know, Stanley, you may be on to something...
