OUTSIDE A COMIC BOOK STORE
SOLOMON: Well, after wandering for an hour, we FINALLY happened upon a comic book store. I can see that "manga" means "comic book" in Japanese. It's spelled out in English letters in the store window.
MCGURK: "Taiko" must mean "large drum," since that noodle vendor on the street handed me one when I asked him for directions.
SOLOMON: Yes, it was odd that he had one on him. Look, give me your jacket. While you duck in to buy the comic book, I'll have that place across the street clean all that sumo white powder stuff off of it. You look a mess.
